British Learning Association
is a centre of expertise that produces best
practice examples, identifies trends and
disseminates information on both innovative
and well-established techniques and technologies
for learning. The aim is to synthesise existing
knowledge, develop original solutions and
disseminate this to a wide cross sector
membership.
The BLA
is the cross sector independent forum for
advancing distance learning techniques and
distance learning technologies in distance
learning. It has a high profile membership
drawn from companies, colleges and universities,
government organisations, learning providers,
vocational training bodies, public libraries,
organisations with learning centres including
those that offer learndirect, consultants,
individual practitioners, business support
and research organisations. |

Adult Higher Education Alliance (AHEA)
is an association of people from across
the country who are engaged in action learning,
reflection and discussion which we bring
to our own lives and into our colleges and
universities as teachers and administrators.
We are united by our
commitment to adult students, adult education
professionals, alternative degree programs
for adults, and research supporting adult
higher education.
