Tuition at Columbus University is based on a program rate for degree term. It is not charged on a semester, quarter, or course-by-course basis.

Degree Terms
If course work is not completed within the specified time a continuous monthly registration fee of $195 per month will be charged until the student completes the degree program.

Books and fees are not included in the program rate. A list of fees is included below. Fees are charged only as services are rendered.

Payment Plan
Columbus University offers a payment plan for students who choose not to pay tuition in full. The tuition and payment plans available are outlined in the University Registration Agreement.

Automatic Payment Option
Columbus University offers an automatic billing option to students who choose to use the University's payment plan. A Student may choose to have monthly tuition payments automatically charged to their credit card or deducted from their checking account.

Tuition Reduction
Family members of an active student or graduate are eligible for a discounted tuition rate. Upon completion of any degree program at Columbus University, graduates may reenroll and receive a discounted tuition rate.

Tuition Refund Policy
Students who wish to withdraw from their degree program must provide the University with written notice via certified mail. The following percentages apply to refunds for tuition:

0-34 Days 100%
35-44 Days 80%
45-60 Days 50%
Over 60 Days 0%

A full refund is due students whose contracted educational services are denied by the school as a result of economic or academic fraud, as defined in Code of Alabama 16-46-1(7) and (8)(1975).
